Another hard slam. Ellen couldn't fathom what Megan was doing, but she was concerned. It was the parent instinct. What if Megan had badly injured herself? With all the ruckus she was making, that would seem apparent. Megan had crashed her body to the floor, bashing her head hard against the plastic floor of the shower. She wept slightly, both scared and angry. However, she didn't have time to dwell as her transformation accelerated. The tight feeling in her spine grew into sheering pain as a fin burst through, expanding Megan's skin around it. Ellen banged on the bathroom door.

"Megan, sweetheart? Are you okay in there?" There was no response.

Megan's pleas degenerated into nothing more than low groans and moans of unwanted agony. Behind them all, she was weeping. But, among the warm steamy air of the shower it was impossible to tell. Now her cute, short untidy hair was falling out. Literally clumps of the fibers could be shredded from the base of Megan's skull. Her body got bigger, her chest expanded into unknown proportions and very quickly, her skin was engulfed with tough, grey skin. The pigment hadn't quite solidified yet.

Tones of Megan's original flesh were still visible among the grey. And yet, there still remained clear patches of untouched skin. Megan's bulk firmed, and soon her rear felt strange. Her crotch and posterior merged together as a limb extended behind her. First poking out slowly, then rapidly forming in a tail, a shark's tail!
